The Battle Between the Right and the Wrong

I do not have the greatest memory ever bestowed on a human, but a few things do stick out in my mind.  For instance, I remember where I was and what I was doing on September 11th 2001.  I remember where I was and what I was doing on March 30th 2003, when George W. Bush gave the word of action to attack Iraq. Though, in no way of comparison to the previous two, I also remember where I was and what I was doing on June 30th 2014.  To some people, this day means absolutely nothing.  To some people, it was a terrible day in the United States.  A major setback for women, some have even called it.  But, to others like me, it was a very important and joyful day.  OK, I will tell you now.  June 30th 2014, the Supreme Court of the United States, voted 5 to 4 in favor of Hobby Lobby and their decision to not pay for certain birth control medications, due to their ability to cause abortions.  I know, I told you that I would be writing on current events in this blog.  Bear with me for a moment, because I am going somewhere with this quickly, that will bring us up to speed with what happened yesterday.  On the following day, I read article after article, reporting on the SCOTUS decision.  I asked myself, "At what point  did this become a war on women?" Hobby Lobby was still going to provide contraceptives to women, just not the four they believed would lead to abortion. Four medications out of nineteen!  They are still going to pay for the other fifteen!  But, the left did not want that.  They wanted them ALL!  This decision was a 5 -4 decision by the justices.  Note: Five conservatives and four liberals.  So, basically, the four liberal wanted to take the right of "opting out" away from the American people and make them do it.  Same issue stood with the union case that was decided on that very day as well.  Four of the justices wanted to make the American people join a union, weather they wanted to or not!  Now, almost two months later and look what happened yesterday...

Really?   I thought the SCOTUS ruled on this?  However, the left is still trying every angle, to get this pushed through.  Why are they fighting so hard for this?  Why are they not investigating Benghazi, or looking to fix the border issue, or even trying to pass a dang budget for crying out loud?  Why is this so extreamly important, that it takes precedence over all else?  Oh!  That's right.  Midterm elections are coming up and they want the women vote.  All of that "Benghazi stuff" and "border crisis jargon" is just the right rambling on... I forgot...(Insert sarcasm here)

Final notes:
When the government makes you do something, where is the freedom?  When they make you do something against your religion, no matter what religion it is, where is the religious freedom?  Why was freedom of religion part of the first amendment?  I believe it was because this, was of the utmost importance to the founding fathers.  When something is important to you, it comes first, right?  Then I read on to see separation of church and state listed as to why this was a violation. This is my biggest pet peeve above all else.  How can this be a violation, when no law is written?  You have to have a law before it can be violated.  Nowhere in the Constitution or the bill of rights, does it say anything about separation of church and state.  This has been pulled from a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to the Danbury Baptist Association in 1802, relieving their worries that government would institute a national church.  Jefferson wrote on to say that they were free to exercise their religion and government would not get involved in anyway, thus building a wall of separation between church and state.

I'm sorry, but our government  is out of control and the people on the right need to take it back!
